Sleeper

The following description exists for REFERENCE. It is NOT intended as INSTRUCTIONAL.

How it is done

The Attacker is behind the Defender and facing their back. The Attacker loops one arm around the Defender's neck. Next the Attacker places the hand on their arm looped around the Defender's neck onto their opposite arm which is on the other side of the Defender's head. The Attacker places their other hand on the Defender's head, pushing their head and neck into the hold and cutting off their air and circulation, putting them to sleep.

How to escape

The Sleeper hold is usually countered with sharp elbows by the Defender to the Attacker's abdomen or sides.
