Chicken Wing Hammerlock

The following description exists for REFERENCE. It is NOT intended as INSTRUCTIONAL.

How it is done

The Attacker gets behind the Defender, facing the Defender's back. The Attacker locks on a regular hammerlock by pulling one arm of the Defender around behind their back. The chicken wing is added where the Attacker brings their own arm up behind the Defender's trapped arm. Then The Attacker loops their other arm around the Defender's neck and links up their hands at the Defender's shoulder.

How to escape

The Defender has one arm and two legs free to mount some kind of escape, by twisting or throwing the Attacker off balance.
